Honey, I like it when there's nothing
But me and the road
You may call it alone
But I reap what I sow
'Cause I've got a fire burning
In my heart
I chase these lines and keep turning
For that spark
But I'm still searching for that line I can't find
Need some kind a' light that will leave behind
All the wrong paths that I've taken
Tell me this time I won't be mistaken
Now I know things ain't what they seem
But I said darling, there ain't no in-between
And what you say can never be
So take your judgement and throw it in the sea
There's just some things you'll never understand
What it was like to take this dream in my hands
And carry it down the darkened mile
Of distant road and dangerous spires

I've come back to this album and FOD often when I need a pick-me-up. It's engaging, energetic, nostalgic, and complex enough to reward many repeated listenings. I'm always catching new details. What a beautiful work! markdesimone

Apart from the fact that 'Reach for the Stars' is a perfect example of everything I love about computer music, the whole album is just an absolute belter of a piece of work. The soaring pitch-bent melodies and arpeggios, the basslines that make me want to dig out Thunderforce IV and the fact that (I don't say this lightly) some of the arrangements and progressions remind me heavily of Tim Follin. An utterly exceptional piece of work. Pure gold. Remote_
